#tokfriday: Reason, Emotion, #Germanwings and Plane Crashes

Airline crashes killed over 900 people in 2014. It seemed like major crashes grabbed headlines every other month, prompting some to question whether flying is getting more dangerous and fueling other's (irrational?) fear of flying. But 2014 is also one of the safest years on record for fatal crashes in recent memory.
