#tokfriday: Ethics, Human Science, and the #FIFAscandal


On Wednesday, May 27th, Swiss officials arrested 7 FIFA officials on charges of corruption at the request of the U.S. Department of Justice. On the same day, the Swiss Office of the Attorney General opened a second investigation into possible corruption in the bidding process of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups (in Russia and Qatar respectively). This is not the first time the FIFA organization has dealt with charges of corruption and other serious scandals.
